When asked, “Exactly what do you mean by ‘guts’?” Nobel Literature prize recipient, author and journalist Ernest Hemingway replied: “I mean, grace under pressure.”

A successful PA requires resilience, forbearance, fortitude and the ability to exude cool calm and stoicism in any situation. However with increasing pressures at work and home it’s getting harder to start the day with smile let alone end the day.

Theatre director Catherine Arden’s ‘Life and Social Skills’ Interactive workshops provide a safe environment to explore fun, practical and easy to follow, tried and tested tools and techniques, easily applicable to everyday situations, that help develop personal power for the professional edge – and maintain ‘Grace under pressure’.  Catherine’s website

Members can certainly look forward to an evening with a difference and a first for the Network!  Catherine’s own personal profile tells you how much she has achieved in the Theatre/Arts and it is exciting for London PA Network to be able to draw upon her experience for this event.” – Brenda Bawick, Member of London PA Network
